Terms
Terms of use
Last updated 31 August 2026
These terms of use govern your access to and use of Becca, a psychoeducational self-screen for adults. By opening, loading, or using Becca, you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the product.
Acceptance
Use of Becca constitutes acceptance of these terms, the privacy notice, and the intended-use page. Continued use after a posted change is acceptance of the revised terms. You do not need an account; using the protocol, scoring, or reports is enough.
Eligibility
Becca is for adults aged 30 years or older. It is not designed, validated, or offered for anyone under 18, and it is not calibrated for people under 30. You represent that you meet the age requirement. Do not complete the protocol on behalf of a minor.
Licence
Subject to these terms, you are granted a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use Becca for your own self-screen. The licence may be revoked at any time, for any reason or none. You may not sublicence, sell, rent, or commercially exploit Becca or its outputs.
You must not:
- scrape, harvest, copy, or reconstruct the item bank, scoring rules, cut-offs, or report language for a competing clinical, screening, or assessment product;
- reverse engineer the protocol except to the extent a statute forbids that restriction;
- frame, mirror, or automate Becca in a way that bypasses these terms.
Intellectual property
The items, domain structure, scoring logic, bands, flags, and report copy are original to Becca. They are not the Autism-Spectrum Quotient (AQ), RAADS-R, WHO Adult ADHD Self-Report Scale (ASRS-5), Camouflaging Autistic Traits Questionnaire (CAT-Q), or DIVA-5, and they do not reproduce those instruments. Those names are used only to state what this protocol is not. All rights in Becca that are not expressly licensed here are reserved.
No medical advice
Becca is a psychoeducational self-screen. It is not a medical device, not software as a medical device (SaMD), not FDA-cleared or CE-marked, and not a diagnosis, treatment, or care plan. Nothing on Becca is medical, psychological, or legal advice. It is not a substitute for a licensed clinician, and a score is not a finding you can take as diagnostic.
No warranty
Becca is provided as-is and as-available, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, non-infringement, and uninterrupted or error-free operation. Scoring bands are hypotheses, not conclusions. Self-report, camouflaging, co-occurring conditions, and device or browser limits can all distort results.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the people and systems that make Becca available are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, opportunity, employment, education, insurance, or health outcome, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), or otherwise, even if advised of the possibility.
Without limiting the above, there is no liability for decisions you or anyone else make from scores or reports — including jobs, medication, treatment, relationships, or self-diagnosis.
Indemnity
You will indemnify and hold harmless the people and systems that make Becca available from claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of Becca, your violation of these terms, or your use of scores or reports to make decisions about yourself or others.
Prohibited uses
You must not:
- use scores, bands, or reports to deny insurance, employment, or education eligibility, or to screen, rank, or exclude people;
- use Becca as a diagnostic instrument in clinical practice, or present it as validated, standardised, or equivalent to a clinician-administered assessment;
- represent a Becca result as a diagnosis of autism, ADHD, AuDHD, or any other condition;
- complete the protocol for someone else without their informed agreement, or for a person under 30.
Governing law
You are responsible for complying with the laws that apply where you live and where you use Becca. These terms do not choose a governing law or forum that cannot be enforced without a legal entity. Mandatory consumer protections in your jurisdiction still apply.
Changes
These terms may change. The date at the top of this page is the date of the current version. Material changes take effect when posted. Your remedy if you disagree is to stop using Becca and erase local data as described below.
Termination
You may stop using Becca at any time. To terminate, erase data stored on this device (including any draft answers and reports in local storage) and stop using the product. The licence ends when you stop or when it is revoked. Sections that by their nature should survive — including intellectual property, no warranty, limitation of liability, indemnity, and prohibited uses — survive termination.
Entire agreement
These terms, the privacy notice, and the intended-use page are the entire agreement about Becca. They replace any prior statements about the product. If a provision is held unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
